WELCOME TO MY PRIVATE ART-FILM SERVICE.
I have setup a small custom processor in my studio to run dr5 B&W, neutral & sepia. I am also running B&W negs. While I am no longer offering service as a "lab".
I am not immune to old clients needing B&W slides. The much smaller setup is a "one-shot" chemistry process [the large D&D, a replenish system], effectively and drastically increasing process costs. Since the labs closure, costs in general and more recently, have sky-rocketed to unheard of numbers mainly due to tariff and supply demand or lack thereof. As photographers ourselves dr5 will always be a part of our shooting art, as it was in the beginning.
Since the large custom dr5 processor is no-more, we have come full-circle in how dr5 is processed.
..THIS IS A PRIVATE SERVICE - I am NO LONGER A REGULAR LAB after 27yrs..
I will consider all process requests. Turn-times may be lengthy at times depending on my personal schedule, but I will consider rush orders.
NOTE: Some of dr5 films and iso's will not be run in this private service. Please check the FILM-REVIEWS before sending or shooting films.
Films not in the film-review OR films shot at the wrong ISO will not be dr5 run. I will make contact and offer these to be run as negatives,
otherwise they will be returned. After 27yrs the regular dr5 lab no more. I will not be publishing the process, contrary to rumor.
