KODAK TMAX400 - TMY - Ei: 20~320
NORMAL dr5 ISO: 125
With none of the same qualities as TMAX100, In developer 2-sepia it looks quite different. A unique look all to its own. It has a sepia/selenium masking look. The new TMY has an improved sharpness, but holds that same image quality.
This is a good quality film in dr5 with a very different look. Exposing TMAX400 closer to its factory speed reduces the image quality of this film substantially. dmax of TMAX400 is very high, around 3.80 Though flatter at lower iso, TMY is easier to work with if shot between 50 & 125. Do not shoot this film at its factory speed for dr5! The quality is substandard above 320.
Updated images are coming soon for the new TMY-2. Use this new stock for dr5 if you are using TMY.
