A NEW film offering from ILFORD - KENTMERE / MACO/ROLLEI: NOTE: We are uncertain of this films availability in the market place. Nonetheless we have run tests and found it suitable for dr5.
This film posses a good sharp image quality in dr5, as sharp as HP5 but not as versatile. It is a Tri-acitate film produced by Kentmere-Ilford. Its DMAX is around 3.00. The Ei range is low in dr5. The image produced in DEV2is slightly more masked than it's cousin RPX100. RPX 400 has a - masked - sepia tone in dr5. We think this film performs best in DEV2
NOTE: dr5 processed DEV2 has been proven to be impervious to environmental damage. DEV2 is "completely archival"
As with ALL ROLLEI 120 films, load in deep shadow and protect the bare rolls always.
