A NEW film offering from ILFORD - KENTMERE / MACO/ROLLEI: NOTE: We are uncertain of this films availability in the market place. Nonetheless we have run tests and found it suitable for dr5.
This film posses a good sharp image quality in dr5, as sharp as HP5 but not as versatile. It is a Tri-acitate film, not the POLY-based like the other ROLLEI-MACO films. Its DMAX is around 3.00. It's Ei range is low in dr5. The image produced is slightly more masked than it's cousin RPX100. RPX 400 has a cool tone in dr5 DEV-1.
As with ALL ROLLEI 120 films, load in deep shadow and protect the bare rolls always.
