DIGITAL SLIVER SCALA BLACK AND THITE SLIDE

EFKE 820c IR - Ei: 50 ~ 200 iso
NORMAL dr5 ISO: 100 w/f-factor

The original MACO/efke IR film returns! Brought to you by FREESTYLE Photo. In every sense, a traditional IR film. The MACO film was the same film. All that has changed is the packaging.
Comes in 8x10, 4x5, 2¼, 127 & 35mm formats.

Use this procedure for this IR film, using filtration;
100iso is the normal dr5 iso for this film "without" filtration. The procedure might change for exposing this film as we retest it once again. Use the 100iso base. Use filter compensation factor for what ever filter you are using. This will vary depending on the filter used. DMAX for this film is very good at around 3.50+

EFKE-IR 820c, unlike Kodak HS-IR, produces a beautiful brown tone in developer 2-sepia.

The advantages to the efke-IR film is the larger sizes and much finer grain. This film is also less sensitive to IR loading procedures. We still recommend you load this film in a very shadowed space, total darkness is unnecessary because of it's anti-halation backing. An exposed roll of 120 or 127 must be protected after exposure. This films range; 0iso - 20iso (to view below images larger: right-click / view image].

NOTE: The 120-film will fog easily. We advise special care. Treat it as you would any high speed film. Use a container or foil to cover the 120 rolls after it has been shot. The 35mm, 120 and large format films all are the same and produce the same results. The EFKE plant is one of the oldest film coating plants still producing film.

ALSO NOTE: ALL EFKE/ADOX films vary from emulsion to emulsion. Though we like these films & test them continually, we find the emulsion can vary as much as 20% between run-numbers. We would highly suggest you test a 'roll/sheet' of purchased stock before doing your shoot.
It might be best to provide the box with all EFKE/adox films so we have the EM# dates - for best processing.
