ADOX SCALA 50

Film titled "ADOX SCALA 50 ". The result in dr5 is 'satisfactory'..dmax@ 3.40. It's tonal range in dr5 in contrast grade is unusable at 50iso. This is a very contrasty COPEX film, previously known as HR-50. While it will produce B&W slides, there are several other sharp films for dr5 that produce a much superior result [see RPX-25 or PAN-f, Delta-100].

Ei range 10~50. Normal dr5 iso is 10 to 20, depending on what you are shooting. While this film will run at 50iso, the dynamic range is very high. DMAX at 50iso is around 2.80. This film is much better at 6 to 20 iso. You should avoid contrasty scenes with this film. Other than these issues the film is a good performer for someone needing a high contrast slide. ADOX home kit for this film is optimised for this film. There are many way better films for B&W slides. We do not recommend this film and only for a speciled look.
